Just a quick blog post today to say that the Belgrave is hosting its Pie and Cider festival this Sunday.

I went last year and had a reet nice time. It was surprisingly sunny so we got to enjoy the rooftop garden.

The ‘festival’ is open from 11am and apparently there are 20 varieties of cider, 20 local ales and over 60 different varieties of pork pies, sausage rolls and sausages from local farm shops and butchers. (There are gluten free and veggie options too.)

Last year, we knew we had an Easter Sunday roast lined up in the evening so couldn’t make the most of the pies, but as we’ve got no big meal plans this time around, I’m looking forward to sampling a few more pies and pints!
